Hello, I'm Indigo and this is my video game walkthrough blog. I'm not amazing but I try my best. I mostly do rpg's because faster paced games are more difficult to screenshot, but that's mostly what I play to begin with so it works out well. Games are mostly going to be Nes/Snes/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. I hope what I've done can be helpful!

Mega Man Battle Network (Part VI)

You get jacked out of the Waterworks terminal automatically after you beat the bears. But, wait... what about that pump that had no handle? Oh, well. Return to ACDC town. Mega Man will suggest you go check the school pond. Because your house, or that park that is on the way to the school, those just aren't good enough.

That's probably not good. Chaud calls to be a dick, and Lan decides to go back to the waterworks. Yaaaaay running around. Go to the Metro station to receive an e-mail from Yai... then turn around and walk right back out. Check the car by Higsby's shop to find the kid. Sure, Higsby is an ex-WWW member, but that's not suspicious at all right?

So anyway. Back to the waterworks. Take the same path through the first area as you took before and then in the second area, go up the ramp to where the clown guy was before. Use the handle you got to turn the pump off here. Continue on, taking a small detour to the left (don't slide on the ice) to get a Recover80 C. You'll soon come across a ramp leading up and one leading down - take the upper first, it leads to a pump to the left that you need to turn off. Backtrack and take the lower path to another teleport.

Are we almost done? I hope so. In this next area, ignore the ramp you come across leading down as it's a dead end.

Slide across the ice and then stand about here and slide down in the same direction as I'm facing here to end up in a bare spot. Slide up and then turn the pump here on then off. Go down and take the lower path to another teleport, getting an easily accessible TriArrow A along the way. Here you find (sigh) another area, this one containing a program.

It tells you how to get through the area, but you don't need its advice when you have me!

Go to the far left and slide along the last line of square shaped tiles (not the solid area with a bunch of circles along it). Fall through the hole, go up the ramp, turn the pump on then off. Go around and use the small bit of ice to drop down over the edge and end up on the section you just thawed.

You want to stand on the square-shaped tile closest to the edge, facing up and to the left, and slide over the edge. From where you drop down, go up a bit and get the mystery data hidden under the platform, which contains a PowerUp! (This was legitimately exciting for me). Go up and around and do the usual business with the pump (on then off).

So yeah. This next part gave me a big steaming crock-pot worth of trouble. I kept sliding off the edge, or in the completely wrong direction, over and over for about fifteen-twenty minutes, and it was horrible. Luckily this isn't a video walkthrough so you don't have to see that!

What you need to do is slide off the icy edge near the second pump, getting yourself back down to the "base" of the big area. Go four rows of square tiles in (so stand behind the program) and slide upward, landing yourself on the row of thawed tiles. Go as far right as you can, then stand diagonal (up and to the right) and slide onto the second row of thawed tiles. Got it so far? Good.

From here, walk down until you see the brown colored pathway off to the side.

See it in the corner there? That's where we need to get to. When you get here go up the foreboding path and take a teleport toooo... not a boss. I saved my game here anyway though, because that last part made me want to cry a little bit. Partly because by this point the enemies aren't giving me any trouble at all, they're just severely irritating.

In this area, the only way open to you is a bunch of short icy paths so continue sliding down. When you reach a platform head up and you will come across a massive ice rink. What fun! You need to slide diagonally (up and to the right again) and then straight to the left, and then diagonally again (down and to the right) and then check the mystery data for 1000 Zennys. From here slide straight up and off the edge, around, and turn the pump on then off. Careful not to fall down to the left on the way, but once your done it's a useful shortcut back. Slide back down to where you got your money and then across the frozen pipes.

Take the route north along another long foreboding path, save when you have the brown platform in your sight.

And you find this.

Also this happens again. I'm not crazy, right? This is supposed to say "Lord"?

Ice Man
500 HP

Ice Block: He creates an ice block at the end of each of your rows. No direct damage, limits movement.

Block Kick: Kicks one of the blocks at you, moves in a straight line but very quick

Ice Ball: Tosses out a ball of ice that will spread into a large + upon hitting the ground. Be ready to move quick, you'll need to cover at least two squares to escape the spread.

He's not a very tough little guy, but getting hit by that ice ball eats up a LOT of time...
