Hello, I'm Indigo and this is my video game walkthrough blog. I'm not amazing but I try my best. I mostly do rpg's because faster paced games are more difficult to screenshot, but that's mostly what I play to begin with so it works out well. Games are mostly going to be Nes/Snes/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. I hope what I've done can be helpful!

Kirby's Adventure (Part XIII)

You may recall that I was almost dead at the end of the last section. So I went back to level 2 and did an arena battle to fix that. Yay!

Stage Five

The first area here has a whole whack of bomb enemies, so you may want to proceed slowly. Immediately afterwards you'll be dropped into a very small room with a Grand Wheelie, where I almost died once again due to my A button not working properly. Oh, usb controller. How you make me rage. Note that if you're thinking ahead unlike me you can eat one of the bomb enemies and kill it off in one shot.

Right so you actually don't want the wheel ability here because it will probably make you die. Pay attention to the star patterns in the background here. Whichever way they are pointing is the way that the environment will push as you travel through the empty space. This can make it tricky, but what makes it difficult is the fireball enemies flying all around. The safest way to progress is probably to eat one of them and just zoom across the anti-gravity (or super-gravity) pits.

In the next area, gobble up the fire enemy below you and proceed to the right till you find a cannon fuse. Then find a comfy chair and make yourself some popcorn.

It's time for "blog author rages against cannon puzzle" episode two! Yaaaaay! I want to find the person who designed this and kick their shins. What you have to do here is stand on the veeeery edge of the first step, breathe your fire, then slide over and jump into the cannon as fast as possible. Literally as fast as the game coding will allow you to travel. Make zero mistakes. If you fail (which you should a couple times, just so I don't feel bad) just move right until the fuse is off the screen then go back and try again. Watch out for the re-spawning enemies.

The (eventual) successful execution of this process will bring you here. You will then return to the previous area, which happens to be the end of the stage.

Are you ready for a fantastic adventure? Here we go!

Stage Six

IT IS BLACK AND WHITE. AND THE MUSIC IS SO OLD. IT MAKES MY NERD BRAIN SO SO HAPPY. For the most part this is a straightforward (although seemingly a tad above-averae in lenght - but that's good, this stage is awesome) series of areas, except for a secret door in the final area. You'll know you're here because it will be night time, and you will be surrounded by pictures of the moon. Also the star-spangled doorway will be here obviously. Anyway, take the gigantic hint that the environment is giving you and fly into the moon. You will find a 1up here, as well as a Maximum Tomato and switch that will uncover this level's warp star room. And with that we are done!

Booooooss tiiiiiiime!

King Dedede

It's like fighting a Kirby/Bonkers mix, really. He's simple enough to evade. Fly over him when he runs at you. When he jumps, just dash/slide out of the way and inhale/toss back the stars. When he flies at you slide/jump/dash around to avoid his massive belly. But simple doesn't really mean easy. I used to have a looot of trouble with this guy. Also note that he can suck you up and toss you around.

Wait a second! What's this?! Another level!

But not really. It's jsut some boss battles.

Round one! The apoco-sphere! Your goal is to keep it from reaching Dreamland below. My only advice is get as close as you feel safe and mash the B button like there's no tomorrow. Yes, try to avoid its attacks so you don't die, but you are on a time crunch here and this thing has a ton of life. Once you get its hp reduced it will fly off and a warp star will appear - hurry up and get on before you hit the ground!

Now the real battle begins.

Nightmare

I actually find this guy easier than the apoco-sphere. You have to hit his "body" which looks like a tornado. The star projectiles he shoots aren't extremely hard to dodge, and even with him teleporting around you have plenty of opportunities to whack him. Note that Kirby will spin if he jumps with the star rod - this will also hurt him if you come in contact with the body while jumping.

Just a couple more quick points - your star rod can destroy his projectiles. And also you do not get healed in between the last fight and this one, so be careful. If you die though, you do not have to do the first part over. I did actually die twice, mostly due to not using the jump-spin attack enough. Also the first time due to going into the battle with only one hit point.

And that is it for Kirby! Watch the ending scenes if you wish to do so, feel proud of yourself as the story unfolds before your eyes. Enjoy some end-game music. Watch some pre-recorded boss fight snippets.

And there you have it! After beating the game you now have access to a challenge mode where you only get 3 hit points instead of 6. I probably won't be doing this, since it likely wouldn't be very interesting to read (me having already screen capped most worthwhile things already). But uh. I dunno. There's also a boss rush and some other stuff, so I might come back and do some extra stuff with it later. Maybe once I have the proper technology I can do videos! Yay!

Thanks for reading and following along with our adventure. I hope that you will find even more here that you can enjoy! Bye for now!
