Hello, I'm Indigo and this is my video game walkthrough blog. I'm not amazing but I try my best. I mostly do rpg's because faster paced games are more difficult to screenshot, but that's mostly what I play to begin with so it works out well. Games are mostly going to be Nes/Snes/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. I hope what I've done can be helpful!

Megaman Zero: Mission 2B (Duel In The Desert)

Duel In The Desert (2/3)
"We've got a report that enemies are assembling in the desert
area. They haven't started their attack yet, but a large
scale assault can be expected. Even though our comrades built
barricades and are taking precautions against their attack, I am
still worried. If you don't mind, will you go and help them?"

She is right to be concerned, because the resistance members are useless as we all know. This is a pretty short mission but it is packed full of enemies and it's very easy to miss one of them that gives you a cyber elf since they have a tendency to run away from you. Also, you cannot backtrack. Once you move left the prior sections of the level are cut off to you.

There are Carry Arms that will try to drop Spykings on you, annoying Kerberos that will drive back and forth and try to smack into you, and Pantheon Hunters will spawn infinitely until you reach the boss. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

Kenite [1250 EC] (1/2)
There are only two Cameloids in this mission, and you get this elf by destroying them both.
These Shellcrawlers are the runners I was talking about. If you knock their armour off they will drive quickly backward firing energy pellets at you. I find that firing a charged buster shot when they open their shield works pretty well, and it usually takes out several other enemies as well.

M-Orque (2/2)
If you manage to kill five of them you'll get this elf.

If you keep on oing and manage to make it through the ocean of enemies, you will reach the boss after a couple minutes.

Fighting Fefnir
Weakness: Electricity
Reward: Cyber Elf
Often Fefnir will gather a ball of energy in his hand, then leap into the air and slam it into the ground. This will cause a small eruption, which you can avoid by just dashing out of the way. If you end up backed into a corner you can actually time it so that you can dash-jump over Fefnir himself. He will also shoot a ball of fire, or three smaller bursts. You can simply jump over these. He will also jump and fire a fireball straight down sometimes.

Fefnir can also "charge" his attacks, but the larger versions of his attacks are all dodged in the same way as the regular versions and he'll have the same animations for using them so that shouldn't give you much trouble. Also try to keep your distance because if he closes in he will grab you and shoot you into the air.

For his EX Skill, Fefnir will shoot several large balls of fire up into the air which will then rain down around Zero. The guardian himself will remain still while the attack is going on, so just dash and jump out of the way of the fire as it comes down.

Turbo [1000 EC]
Get this by defeating the boss.

Post Mission

Go left from the resistance base and climb up the ladders on the building near the entrance to the desert, then jump onto the top of the gate. There is a hidden cyber elf capsule on the right side.

Lippie [750 EC]
Inside the capsule.
