Hello, I'm Indigo and this is my video game walkthrough blog. I'm not amazing but I try my best. I mostly do rpg's because faster paced games are more difficult to screenshot, but that's mostly what I play to begin with so it works out well. Games are mostly going to be Nes/Snes/Gameboy/Gameboy Advance. I hope what I've done can be helpful!

Pokemon Red Extras (Part 2)

Hello again! This is our final destination for Pokemon Red and Blue versions. To access it you must have defeated the Elite Four. You are in for a very tough showdown - unless, of course, you can't be arsed and just bring the Master Ball along like many other people. I'll be leaving mine in the PC, mostly just to see if I can catch our quarry without it. I got lucky with the legendary birds, but it might not hold up.

Catching Mewtwo - The Unknown Dungeon

There are a lot of Pokemon to encounter here, so I will not be listing them. For the most part it's just evolved forms of Pokemon we've already seen - Dodrio, Rhydon, etc. However you can also find wild Chansey, which until now have only been available within the Safari Zone.

To access this cave, fly to Cerulean City and head north across the "nugget bridge". When you reach the water surf back down and go left, and you should see the entrance to the cave in no time.

When you get inside, head up the first ladder you come across. From where you emerge head down, and then left at a split. It'll soon split again, take the east path. At the next path go right again and collect a PP Up. Go back to where it split and follow the left path for a ladder leading back down to the ground floor, and descend.

Start surfing over to the left and get the Max Elixer in plain sight. Continue surfing past the steps to pick up a Full Restore and then backtrack. Up on the platform go left and pick up a Nugget before climbing the ladder. On the upper area walk along the straight path and there will be a Full Restore sitting next to you just as the path starts to lead north. As you start to curve down there is a dead end off to the right, so ignore it and go left to the stairs.

On the ground floor once again, get this hidden item and then take the path that lies to the south, leading east and eventually to another ladder upward.

At the first split in the path, take the upper route as the bottom is a dead end. Another split almost immediately, this time with right leading nowhere so go down. Go left and take an upper path for an Ultra Ball, then take the lower for a winding, narrow path. At another split go up as opposed to right and down the ladder.

Down another ladder and you're on the basement floor. Take a short path to the right and pick up a Max Revive in an item ball, then head back left and take a path south. From here it's mostly a straightforward path, and there's another Ultra Ball sitting out in plain sight.

Then grab this one, which is not sitting out in plain sight. It's just a short surf south of this location and you will be at the small island on which sits Mewtwo!

And voila, my luck still holds out! It took me 9 Ultra Balls while he was Paralyzed. The jerk kept using Recover ._. I highly suggest you have higher level Pokemon than what I went in with (highest was a level 56 Gyarados, rest were 50-51).
